Re: "my question is...is the code the same for every site or is it exclusive for YWN?" - there are some tags that are true HTML, and some that are interpreted by the bbPress software and replaced with HTML tags (bbPress info courtesy of "Joseph"). That means that the backtick character that works as a displayable field on other sites is translated here as a code delimiter, and there may be other differences as well. Once clear difference is that tags that would display pictures, change colors, and/or change fonts are stripped out.

In Firefox, it's View>Page Source rce for the page?

2) do you no the true html for changing to fixed width font?
"Courier" and "Courier New" are the fixed-width fonts I know of. The "font" tag can either be used by itself, or together with other tags.
Here is a plain-vanilla "font" sample;
This would be blue text.

mod-25 according to icot you were right! so don't underestimate your abilities! about the edit, how come i was able do edit my post with the 4-minutes 9-minutes? i got a edit link on my post and it was amazing i was able to update the timing. as you can all see i just edited my post!

Replace all spaces with   (include both the ampersand and the semicolon). The Notepad "replace all" function is useful for this.

I saw several "hits", but not any useful one yet. My IE browser is busy dl'ing a 250+ mb update, and when it's done I'll check IE's update site.
BTW - your HTML code for YWN is syntactically fine, but you spelled it "theyeshivaworlld" - with an extra "L". Any kindly mod care to fix it?

ICOT: i am not exactly sure what u mean to replace all spaces with does this mean that for every space i must put in or just once at the top or something im a little confused

roshyeshivah:i think its kind of like bold it brings the readers attention and lets them no that htis is something important or intresting im not really sure this is just a guess

yeah teen, i hear. i think i can drive better than that, though and i don't have my license yet. taking my road test in a few weeks so i'll let you know when i pass. maybe we can go for a ride.

I haven't had much luck googling Hebrew language without cd xp ime, and other such combinations.
The only eitzas I saw that I would suggest trying are:
1) When prompted for the cd, try pointing to the windows\i386\lang subdirectory.
-or-
2) Borrow a friend's xp cd, and see if you can find a \lang subdirectory that you can point to.

Please let me know if either of these options is feasible (and if either works).
