"i just found out im being shleped to Niagara . . ." shlepped maybe shlep me along too. It's a beautiful place there. I was there 2 times & i would go again.
Besides made of the mist & all the other classics there's Clifton ave where you’ll have the time of ur life there. It’s full of amusements & crazy museums etc. . . .

If u want a full list of what can be done there then let me know!

Mods isn’t there a topic like this already?

If you're inviting, I want to go also!!
But really - I've been there three times (family, camp, school), and the best thing EVER - whirlpool jet boat. It's geshmak!! But there are a lot of other good things too - like Maid of the Mist, Behind the Falls (whatever it's called), and that skyride thingy over the water.

I hated the whirlpool jet, btw- I was in the worst possible seat and I couldn't breathe! But everything else is fun! There's some great thing on the American side of the Falls- I can't remember what's it called right now... memory block. I'll post it soon.

Going over the falls in a barrel is very entertaining and literally a once in a lifetime experience.

The "thing behind the falls" is Cave of the Winds. Very cool, especially at night!

The absolute best way to enjoy the falls up close is from the American side, on Goat Island. It's a beautiful state park, very relaxed, beautiful nature, walking trails right by and above the falls, the "Three Sisters" islands - you can walk across bridges right over the rapids. The Canadian side is very commercial, very busy... this is much nicer, esp. on Chol Hamoed. Take a mini BBQ and a mini Sukkah and enjoy!! I've done the Tunnels, and the Cave of the Winds there is way better. You're mamash up against the Falls! One tip: take a change of clothes, from the waist down, for everyone. You get these cool sandals, and a plastic poncho, but you still get soaked! (PS.If you're going from the Canadian side, don't forget your passports!)

Thanks LAer, Cave of the Winds. I never did it at night but I can see how it would be so much fun.

Enjoy one of HaShem's amazing creations, and stay away from the casinos.

If you are up to it, drive through some of the less well off parts of Niagra Falls, New York. It is actually the most depressing place I've ever seen in the United States -- worse than the South Bronx, the rural South, or Applachia. It causes me to appreciate the blessings that HaShem has bestowed on me.

I guess that Canada is good for something after all :)

Come to think of it, all the Canadian patriots seem to be between the ages of 19 and 21. Hmmm.
