    ..when waking up minus head. (Why? 2.73 hours in that cozy thing.)

    And no. Coffee is not an option. It’s long used up. (besides, a seventeenth cup won’t make much difference)

    You can spend the day running around in a circle screaming or bang your head into a wall every 2-3 minutes. This has been clinically proven to keep people awake but may result in confinement in a mental institution.

    Think to yourself: If I don’t keep it together, I will be useless to my husband/wife/kids/parents/employer/employees/friends-in-need, etc, & that’s the whole reason why I was zoche to say modeh ani in the first place. HKB”H gave me another day, ,even in this condition, & I’m going to put one foot in front of the next, no matter how little I accomplish, because the alternative is not an option. And tonight I’ll put myself to sleep earlier, like I should have last night.

    and btw 2bshvat I find it interesting that you begun your sentence with “Think to yourself..” Someone in that state cannot.

    ZK-I disagree. the mind is stronger than you can imagine, & when so much is at stake, it is you last & most important asset.

    1) Dark chocolate. Has caffeine AND a substance that increases mood.

    2) Spend all day planning how you can go to bed earlier.

    3) Splash cold water over your face and jump up and down a few times. Repeat every 10 minutes. :o)
