May 27, 2015 1:51 am at 1:51 am #1082866newbeeMemberThe word “toothache” for me has recently turned from an innocent word into an horrific, pain inducing utterance. “May you have a toothache” is to be wished upon only the absolute worst of enemies- and even then – only upon wealthy enemies that can at least afford a good dentist.
May 27, 2015 2:41 am at 2:41 am #1082867JosephParticipantI know someone who brushes his teeth about four times a year, and uses mouthwash about ten times a year, and has been doing so at this frequency for over ten years and has very little trouble with his teeth. He goes to the dentist every six months or so, gets a cleaning and a clean bill of health from the dentist.
Anyone care to venture an explanation how he manages so well?

Is this someone yourself? If so, please reveal your secret.
May 27, 2015 3:00 am at 3:00 am #1082872JosephParticipantDon’t know his secret. He isn’t a health food aficionado, either. His diet is large on sweet foods and drinks.

May 27, 2015 5:09 am at 5:09 am #1082875JosephParticipantThere’s no explanation for it in the medical/dental literature?
May 27, 2015 12:44 pm at 12:44 pm #1082876newbeeMemberim sure there is some sort of explanation. some people have really bad teeth also even if they brush, so it could work the other way around.
