March 1, 2015 5:59 pm at 5:59 pm #1062199BarryLS1ParticipantPatur: Aside from that, should Jews really set foot on that blood soak soil? Also, why give economic benefit to those anti-semites?
March 1, 2015 9:53 pm at 9:53 pm #1062200lesschumrasParticipantWhy give your money to countries that gave up their Jews to the Nazis? An exception would be Italy, which protected Italian Jews and over 70% survived. In one incident, the Nazis rounded up over 1000 Roman Jews and demanded a ransom. Italian Catholics came up with the ransom money but the Nazis reneged and deported them anyway. Don’t confuse the Vatican with the local clergy. Local priests and bishops went out of their way to defy the Vatican and protect Jews.

Europe is a great way to find out if you can get into trouble.
I think that if you do not have enough books yet, you better buy some.
I do not think that Torah is meant to be a tourism element, but I could be wrong.
A great vacation is worth planning.
G-d bless America.
I am not planning my trip anytime soon.

“If you have enough money to spend, BUY a yeshiva education”.
Sorry!
