How about looking at it that when you purchase from a Jew they usually give maaser wich goes towards your mosdos so in essence youre getting back a nice percentage while when you buy from other sources it’s usually the last youll see of the money

We out of towners simply can’t get everything from intown vendors. But again, kol hakavod to people who make the effort.

The online sites like headsuphairwear.com and Tabeez. com are frum owners

Ricci Fashions is very good and their prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of outfits and separates.

Just bought a snood at http://www.headsuphairwear.com and i am really satisfied with it. The price was great! They’re having a winter clearance sale now. Fellow out-of-towners, check it out.

There is another site I believe Funky Frum I saw it advertised in IN FASHION magazine. I believe you can find a lot of advertisers on the OnlySimchas.com website.

Im totally confused because we got so many messages from the rabbanim how we are not allowed to go on to the internet-only for strict business perposes and it must be strictly filtered-so why are people trying to shop online.I mean-what message are we sending our children with that?!

batseven – I’m confused as well.

I learned that you are supposed to be dan lkaf zechus to your fellow Jew, and not immediately accuse them of doing wrong.

We don’t ask questions as to why you’re on the internet.

    To each their own discretion.

“.I mean-what message are we sending our children with that?! “

That prices might be better there, that they don’t have to wait on long lines, waste gas and parking meter money, and (OY VEY) mix with the goyishe velt in the crowded department stores, and see untzniusdig things there!

Just curious, Batseven – do you really think that on-line internet shopping is some sort of message to children? I mean, it IS business, after all.

How about the fact that out-of-town frum yidden are able to purchase affordable tzniusdike clothing only on the web. I don’t think that Wal-Mart carries snoods.

Learn to sew your own clothes (or at least alter the non-tzniut things you find and desire)

BenLevi- it might be a mitzvah- but is it a mitzvah to pay absurd prices?
