I’ve about had it… I know they’re allowed, based on FCC rulings, to make the calls, though I promise that I will not vote for any of these candidates simply because they’re the most annoying people on earth right now. I literally have gotten more than a dozen calls tonight and am quite over with it. They need to find another way to get their message out. Calling my home a dozen times in a single day is just not acceptable.

I never thought I would ever find something to say about robo calls. They are annoying, and they literally rob me of time. Yes, I am flooded with them. The Do Not Call list specifically exempts non-profits, politicians, and businesses where you are already a listed customer. So they are not breaking a secular law. But they are guilty of stealing my time and disturbing me. Yes, I hate them. Yes, I would support legislation to block them completely, requiring an opt in to receive them.

But there is good news here. Today was the last day, until the next election, that you will get these calls. Tomorrow, no one will be calling you, not to report the results of the election, not to congratulate you for going with the winner, nor to curse you for trying to spoil it.

I don’t see what the big deal is. If you don’t recognize the caller ID, don’t answer. How long does it take to delete junk voicemails?

You can create a white list and everyone else is blocked

Interesting that there was such a low turnout for voting. Could it be that people were simply fed up with the hatred and annoyance of such a despicable election race?
