   i have my brothers wedding coming up B'H, and i need a dress i would spend up to 650 dollars where do you recommend i should go? i prefer the jewish style of dressed and are there any good online jewish gown stores? thanks

   try a gemach. there are some with stunning gowns and you rent them for a nominal fee. afterward you dont have to stuff it in your closet

   id rather have the $ in my pocket then a dress inmy closet that i may or may not wear again. that's why i love the gemach idea

   It's been a while, so I'm not sure if they're still open, but...
   Vera and Goldie's in boro park.
   I bought the most beautiful gown from them for my sister's wedding.
   They had one ready made in a color I didn't like, so I brought them fabric and they made the same gown for me to my specifications. They have a nice selection of gowns.
