How many drinks, and of what, does it take to make you drunk?

And how drunk does it make you? How do you act when drunk?

Considering the fact that I’ve never been drunk in my life*, I don’t know.

    * And yes, I know that makes me a complete and utter rasha for disregarding the mitzvah of ad d’lo yada…

I presume you drink on Purim (you said you don’t get drunk) and it’s not so hard to fall asleep so you’re mikayam the Rema (which doesn’t make you a rasha)

Actually, I don’t drink on Purim (far too much driving around to do) and I’m far too busy to go to sleep, so I guess I am a rasha.

I usually don’t get more drunk on purim than usual.

    Wolf,

Are you by any chance a member of hatzalah?

Getting back to the original questions, what does it take to get you drunk and how do you act once drunk?

    Anyone else?

    you drive during your seudah?

No, but often shortly afterwards. And also during the day, I have far too much driving to do to drink.

And no… I am not and have never been a member of Hatzalah (although I was, at one point, an EMT).

about 1.5liters of vodka mixed 50/50 with red bull, and then I get very relaxed.

and than I get the bill and my blood pressure shoots up again

    Oh,

It would explain though how you are “mechalel shabbos” though, and don’t get drunk.

And if that’s the case I don’t see a problem in having a cup and going to sleep for half an hour

    Wolf,

I do not think you have to be to worried about reaching ad d’lo yada on Purim, you seem to be in that state perpetually. You must be a big machmir.

you seem to be in that state perpetually.

Didn’t I say above that I’ve never been drunk in my entire life? If so, how can you say that I am perpetually so drunk that I don’t know the difference?

Or are you accusing me of lying?

    Wolf,

I didn’t say you were drunk, just perpetually in a state of lo yada.

Which you just emphasized with your response.

We all were Empty at one point and then some of us filled up with knowledge.

I have never in my life been drunk, so I guess I don’t know.

I guess that makes this response useless.
