All my favorite songs are instrumentals, so there are no vocals. I have no single favorite song, but I do have between 100 and 300 songs that I think are all wonderful compositions. Mostly stuff under genres between Jazz and Prog Metal, and all between 1960 and 1990.
I also like many songs composed by Abie Rotenberg.

My favorite at the moment: a friend lent me a cd by a guy called zevi krausher. There's some phenomenal songs on it. I'm really into the 2nd song Visimloch Atoh Hu Hashem, a slow song but very hartzig. Anyone know of this cd? It must have slipped by me. I highly recommend it.

I'm listening right now to that vsimloch of zevi krausher. Yes i just had to go buy my own copy! Very uplifting for this time of year! I was thinking of it during rosh hashana shmoneh esray as I said the words. Hope he brings out another album!

gosh, i have too many faves to list! my family already knows that no matter what song i'm listening to on a cd, i will say "oh my gosh, this is my absolute favorite song!" i think they counted about 500 favorites :) well, maybe not, but its really close!

yungerman1- to the tune of 'meshenichnas adar marbim besimcha'??

yungerman and moishy: I was about to say that!
I happen to have a love-hate relationship with Journeys. Some of it I LOVE LOVE LOVE (like Mama Rochel and I Am But A Little Tree) and some I hate with all (okay, only most) of my heart (like The Cat Ate the Canary and the Wedding Song). So it's confusing.
I also really like a bunch of Shwekey songs, like Vehi Sheamda, and strangely enough, I also like One Day from Mattisyahu. My siblings love that stuff, but that's the only one of them I can stand. (Miracle is okay if necessary, but there's a lot of sensory overload.)Posted 1 month ago # -
What's really irritating is that I downloaded a whole bunch of awesome Jewish songs from a website to try to play on my flute and I couldn't do it. It was so frustrating. They were SO HARD. GRRR.
I hate having to remember the flats and sharps and do a billion sixteenth notes in a row along two octaves.Posted 1 month ago # -
Almost any slow song! They are all so beautiful! The slow English ones are really meaningful also! Just sit down with any song, and look at the meaning! It's amazing to just understand what you are listening to or singing!
Can you tell I love to sing?!!!!!!!!! Well, if you couldn't tell, I do! I absolutely LOVE SINGING!!!!!!!! MUSIC IS MY FAVORITE!!!!!!
