   Abie Rotenberg - the maalos of his songs are the tunes and the lyrics, and those are different each song. It is when the songs are unoriginal and simply the voice that you are listening to, then you'll get bored eventually!

   I find that i can listen to Shwekeys first few albums - until Ad Bli Da - and i still love them. I can still find Shwekey Yedid interesting. His voice has changed since then - from Ad Bli Dai and Cry No More, his voice is different - and the way he sings. Has anybody noticed?

    I have been at a chassuna where gertner sang and I was memorized! How effortlessly and seamlessly he weaves songs together, skipping from one to another and back again. Such a sweet voice. How the orchestra kept up with him I do not know. We were enthralled. I could listen to him live for days at a time like that!

    yekke2 i agree i cant listen to shwekey anymore (i never could of the fakness)

    fried is just the opposite u could listen to him day and night pure voice!!!!!!!!
