Bonei olam, A Time are huge infertility organizations.
Zichron shlome, chai lifeline, are for the sick. Those are the few major ones that I know of.

Tomchei Shabbos, Masbia - food and daily needs for poor including newly poor due to economic situation. Both operate in Queens; collect for TS of Queens if you want it to go locally as each TS may be independent.
Your local bikur choilim is often the go-to address for all types of help because of the stress a medical emergency puts on a family LA and they need money to do this. I don't know what it is called in your area; ask your rov or a local "macher".
