Like in the days of Purim with Mordechai Hatzadik in Shushan
so many tragedies have happened recently-over the past couple of years-in so many categories from 1)so many Tzaddikim leaving us to the olam Haemes (the true world) at young ages & very close to one another i.e. every few days compared to months. 2) innocent families & kids destroyed in tragic ways that has shaken up klal yisroel into a zman of endless tzaros 3)Iran getting closer & closer to accomplishing their mission of Nuclear weapons & striking Israel & the world C”V
How can the human being watch these things happening & just let it pass without doing anything about it to solve it & cancel the future Hashem has in hand for klal yisroel C”V? how can we read about Leiby Kletzky R”L & all the thousands affected by his tragic event, not do anything to change our ways & ask ourselves why Hashem would bring such a tragic event upon His loving nation Klal Yisroel? as it says in seforim, if something strange happens to a person, the person should stop-immediately-& make a chesbon Hanefesh (account of his life & recent past, why this would happen to him) & when public tragedies that affect everyone in klal yisroel i.e. Taddikim & innocent children etc... leaving us in strange ways, then we are supposed to make an account based on the entire klal yisroel.
One answer a person might convince himself is, when tragedy strikes, the person asks himself “Vos Vil De Eibishter Fun Mir” (what does Hashem want from me?) I have nothing to do with 9-11, I don’t even work in Manhattan. I don’t even know Leiby Kletzky or live in flatbush etc.... for a short while we feel it & then it leaves us & we all forget about it. We all think that the Riches that i have are because of ME & the work i did for my Business, we forget that Hashem sent us all this money & everything in the world he is watching every day. We have to remember that all this is Happening because of אין פוראניות בעולם אלא בשביל ישראל, all this is because we don't take these messages from Hashem for us to return to him. Hopefully now we can take these signs & prevent other tragedies from happening.
others might have a different issue applying to the entire world of todays generation (yidden or not). the issue I’m referring to is a major problem known as “facing reality” &, today when parents have a problem child C”V, 95% of them (both parents) will say its not so bad so the kid is only getting a 70 on his tests but at least he is passing…. all because they cant admit & FACE REALITY that their child has problems. what’s going to be when he gets older? he can be gone C”V cause they didn’t do something while he was a kid.
i tell you its really sad that the situation has to get so bad. & the only way for people to learn from others mistakes & be more alert in life etc…. is for us to FACE REALITY & do something about it. before it happens again C’V
i.e. how many thousands of accidents have occurred because of texting & driving? or not wearing a reflector at night? why have we not learnt from these tragedies to stop texting? the situation has gotten so bad to the point that if C”V someone heard that his neighbor/friend got into a MVA caused by texting we still wont learn from it. so what are we all doing? a person is C”V putting a klala on himself by telling hashem ha ha you can’t get me to stop texting unless you make something happen to me C”V
how sad but true it is, why can’t we face reality & do something about it when any issue arises, instead of learning from it after its too late & something happpened already C”V?
Maybe the olam can assist me & tell me honestly why the leaders of klal Yisroel have still not made a time for teshuva, kinnus & fasting due to the situation with klal yisroel & whats happening to us in every direction, (from technology... to tragedies.... to Iran....)? do we need to wait until it gets as bad as the days of Yonah with Ninvei or Mordechai in Shushan to be called for a z’man teshuva C”V?
BOTTOM LINE: if I was a leader in klal yisroel, I would have made a zman teshuva... for the entire klal yisroel a long time ago-when it wasn’t so bad & only beginning-perhaps then lots would have been avoided
May we all return to Hashem, each person on his level & come together to bring the coming of Mashiach b’karov
