K I just had to say that - coz I've just been designing the. entire. day. n i need to stop and take a break but its not so simple I still have... 16 more pages to go and I wanted to do this by tomorrow...
Which other designers out there know exactly what I mean... and how do we do this faster??

You wanna hear bad? Check my boss out. I design websites and this boss of mine is completely insane. She has terrible memory. She will tell me to make something blue and then later yell at me for not making it red. She constantly blames me for her changing her mind, she will constantly say ok from now on do so and so and then later freak out at me about how could i do something so stupid. Should i ever confront her telling her, "well you did tell me to do this and that", she'll go nuts and complain how she never said it and she is most certainly not senile (She's in her 60's I'd wager).
Her sense of design is also horrible, she thinks anything "Blue" is actually purple and purple should NEVER belong in any website, ad or anything. However, she does like to WEAR purple stuff.
And well, I could write a book on the garbage i have to go through daily...God I wish I could get another job but with working so late i have no strength to look for other work.
That sounds crazy. You should tell her that before you do any job she has to email you the job description or you can't get started. That way you have proof of the details by email. (Thats what I do - I tell them I can't get started before anyone emails me because then I can't keep track.. I make it sound like its me that I can't be organized without emails so they do it and then I have PROOF!)
And actually hahahah I designed an entire website out of purple. Check out bellecour.ca its with lilac purple maybe a bit different but you can make it work you just gotta use ur imagination n make her happy at the same time ;)

Repharim, I'm sorry you have to go through that. That's bullying for real. I hope you're able to find another job. Lots of web designers are self-employed -- have you considered that? Or maybe you could take a couple of the other employees with you and start your own design company?
anyone know what happened to Song of Blessing? She just disappered! Maybe has too much work on her hands... We miss her around here...

repharim - it doesn't hurt to be tactful - say something like, I'll write this out to make sure I understand exactly what you want. if the boss doesn't put it in writing, you email or write him/her and ask is "this what you wanted?"
