I just listened to Abie Rottenberg’s “Yeshivishe Reid”. Just wondering, is it that annoying to the Jews “outside” the Yeshivishe Velt? I think it simbolizes us as learning and frum Jews. (OK, I’m a girl, so I don’t speak the REAL yeshivish.)

I don’t consider myself yeshivish and do not find it annoying, provided its used in the proper context.

February 25, 2011 6:14 pm at 6:14 pm #744479ItcheSrulikMemberIt’s annoying when people use yeshivish phrases in conversation with people who don’t understand the language. Other than that, I doubt anybody minds.
