does anybody else realize that yishmaels Mitzachek with yitzchak was him shooting arrows at him, similar to nowadays throwing rockets at Israel?

we should see the next part of vayera come true also, where Sarah states yishmael will not inherit eretz yisrael with yitzchak

And the part where the man is commanded to listen to everything his wife tells him.

    sorry PAA,

Hashem gives a reason over there (and therefore it doesnt apply anywhere else) “because she is a neviah”

It doesn’t say that in the pasuk.

It is certainly interesting to note that we have a situation where Hamas can claim their rockets are a joke.

PAA, many things are not explicit in pesukim.

“PAA, many things are not explicit in pesukim.”

That may be true, but it is not accurate to say that H’ gave a reason over there if he didn’t.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, PAA, but the word “b’kolah” in the posuk refers to Sarah’s greater level of nevuah, according to Medrashim quoted by Rashi.

The Medrash says ???? ??? ??? ???? ????? ??? ???? ???????. That does not necessarily translate into “Listen to her because she is a neviah” and it certainly doesn’t say that in the passuk which was all I had said. All the more so according to the Yefei Toar’s pshat that the medrash doesn’t even mean that Sarah had a greater level of nevuah.
