    what recipes do you recommend for dessert, especially for shabat?

    I recommend chocolate cake, marble cake, ice cream, cookies, fruit salad. and anything you can find in any good cookbook

    make a delicious apple cobbler, its very easy to make and comes out really good.

    Take a bottle of dry red table wine. Nothing fancy. (Sweet wine will not work for this recipe.)

    pour it into a pot & heat. Put in a cinnamon stick and some cloves.

    Dissolve brown sugar or demarara sugar into the wine as it heats. Increase sugar till the mixture tastes sweet.

    Let the mixture cool.

    Slice several peaches or nectarines.

    Pour the mixture over them and leave out for a couple of hours, then chill in fridge.

    Serve.

    i make these awesome "creamsicles" that I, and most of my guests, are crazy about, from the Balabustas cookbook...but I use orange jello powder instead of orange drink mix powder...

    i have 2 really good peanut butter ice cream pies- both totally different. but... i dont have the recipes with me right now- so i will try to remember to bring them to work on monday.

    Jello. It´s light and after all that food sometimes the only thing you are in the mood of, of course you can make interesting jellos, different flavors using the kosher fish gelatin, you can make coconut jello, pistachio jello, chocolate jello. really good stuff.

    people people lets please post the RECIPES, thats the point, like me: a parve cheesecake use 3ounces of tofutti cream cheese mix with
    1 cup of sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 cup of water
    *optional: lemon peel *optional: cinammin
    por on to crust
    bake for 30 min, after make sure cheesecake is in fridge for atleast 2 hours before serving because it makes it creamier
