As ujm said, ever heard of Touro College? Literally don’t understand what people have against it.

Also consider why your going to college. If your going to make your parents happy and never plan or want to use the degree. Than yes, go to the other Jewish programs. But on the other hand if you want to use your degree then it’s better to go to Touro.

The crisis is ongoing because both sides won’t give in.
Meaning, I believe that boys at 21 are not mature enough for marriage or able to support a family. However the other side believes that they are.
There’s no rational discussion about “how can we change the boys chinuch system to make them mature or able to support a family.” Rather the response is “at 21 a boy is ready,” no if and or buts about it.
When the boys side says “let girls start later,” the response to that is **!?;’*: THE NERVE TO TELL GIRLS, WHO ALREADY HAVE A HARD TIME, TO START LATER.
Without both of either sides giving in, nothing will change. The boys will continue to be massive reshoim, and the girls will still be single.

with the native restrictions you can create either a blacklist or whitelist of website. so you can have the sites and apps that you want. another option is Kaspersky safe kids, its meant to use on your kids devices, but you can do it for yourself. it allows you to block specific sites, and similarly to qustodio allows you to block specific categories (albeit much less)

Also from personal experience, DO NOT use an app locker, most if not all of them are easy to circumvent.

there are many options available. If you have a modern android phone and it supports Google Family Link, than thats a very good option. If not than you can also use qustodio, or kaspersky safe kids. But with all these you need someone else to set the password to the account otherwise its worthless.
If you need more info, just ask.

    Kaspersky Safe Kids
    Qustodio
Family Link (built in to Android, parental controls)
All these are not as powerful as the above mentioned. But they offer the ability to block categories and individually sites. So with some fine tuning they should also be pretty good.

I want to thank everyone for telling me I’m a terrible person who’s chayiv misa. (I’m 23 and started shidduchim a month ago)
Now lets move on in life.
But I do have a couple of solutions 🙂
father’s should be mekadesh their daughters as ketanos,
    edited
    Mattier pelegesh,
Shut down Mir EY, Brisk, Yagdil, Rav Tzvi Kaplan,
    Allow multiple wives,
    Have coed schools,
Start shidduch yomi, after you do the daf you go on a date, than we can have 1 big chasuna in each country in the world.

    Or…
Have emunah in hashem, and believe that the rabonim that created the ways of America weren’t idiots and apikorsim, they knew every chazal and posek that you can think of (plus more) and yet they did it this way.

Why are people caring about the legal aspect of Hatzalah to confiscate (if they did) the radios?
When push comes to shove these kids were endangering the lives of people. Imagine if chas vshalom something happened to a person because of these kids, and after Hatzalah confiscates the radios? Would people also say “how dare Hatzalah do that,” or would everyone suddenly understand?
Another scenario, Hatzalah files a lawsuit against these kids, again people would have nasty things to say.
Hatzalah is trying to prevent something from happening, please everyone just understand that. Sometimes logic comes first, and Hatzalah is taking the logical steps.
If these kids (and everyone here who believes Hatzalah did the wrong/illegal thing) want to file a lawsuit or call the cops on those who confiscated the radios, go right ahead. I don’t think you’ll get to far.

Can someone list what Trump has done that is eligible to get him impeached?
At the federal level, Article Two of the United States Constitution states in Section 4 that “The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

There’s a simple solution to close this “age Gap”. Girls start shidduchim later. Instead of going to seminary for a year, they should go for 2 years.
Or shadchanim shouldn’t take resumes from girls below 20.
The facts are boys can’t start start earlier, they need to learn for a few years post high school.

Also, would you rather work in a department store interacting with people (and other benefits) or work in a Warehouse where you’re timed to the last second to improve efficiency.

Number 1 rule of investing, only invest funds that you are able to lose. Another rule, the more risk the more return. Why don’t you spend some time with an adviser to choose 10 stocks, all paying dividends, and hold on to them and collect dividends. Diversify your portfolio to decrease unsystematic risk, and you should be fine.

    @WinnieThePooh
i need to apologize about what i wrote, from the original post i wasn’t able to understand that you were from israel (and how things work there, the whole society is different than america). I assumed that you were someone who was just trying to cause hock, while not writing the truth about his situation, Im sick and tired of people that do that.

@WinnieThePooh why do I feel that your lying?
Now on to the topic, technology is here to stay, avoiding it is pushing off the inevitable, if you really need a smartphone, ios (in case you don’t know, that is Apples operating system for their devices) has pretty strong parental controls that you can use, or a Blackberry not running android (obviously someone else, not a family member or close friend, should set it up for you).
I’m assuming your laptop/computer at home uses a whitelist for the internet. Instead of fighting technology try to learn how to use it in a kosher manner.
Btw which bank requires you to get an SMS of your pin for the ATM? The only one I know of is Wells Fargo, and that is to make a withdrawal WITHOUT your bank card.

the biggest problem facing the jewish world now, is the fact that we feel the need to create a crisis for everything, the shidduch crisis, the parnasah crisis, the teaching English in schools crisis (FJJ), etc. if everyone would not go crazy about all these stupidities, than the jewish world would be a better place.
