    Kedem makes 3 versions.
    1. The glass bottles of grape juice is 100% juice.
    2. The plastic bottles include concentrate but no water.
    3. Light, which contains concentrate and water.

There are various opinions as to whether adding water invalidates it for kiddush and/or changes its brocho.

Everyone should as their rabbi as to how to rule. On the bottle itself are two authorities who rule it’s ok.

Some places have tried that concept. It’s called Universal Guaranteed Income. The results were not positive. You can google the details.

The vishnitze rebbe said in a speech that it was his father’s shita that a chusid should be like a tail. Just like a tail is always attached and follows the body, so should a chusid be close to his rebbe and be guided accordingly.
He said it to his chassidim, and it’s not our business to judge nor criticize. The arrogance of those who are speaking negatively of it, while claiming to represent another shita/ opinion.

Have you thought that maybe I worked late and didn’t have time to go home and get my hat. If the choice is not davening or davening without a hat, I think the answer is rather daven without.

Also, most yarmulkes have a lining and can possibly be considered a double covering.

Rav Miller passed away looking before anyone considered putting shiurim online, so I find it hard to believe that he was asked about it.

For those paying above 10k on a moderate home, much of the bill is school tax and not property tax, so it will not change anything under the new rules.

You don’t clarify if this is a temporary beam during construction, or one that will stay permanently.

If it’s temporary, and the neighbor is frum, then you should just let it go, even though what they did was not so nice. Also keep in mind that they may not even realize it’s on your property or the contractor may have done it without them knowing.

If however it’s permanent, then you need to take action. I suggest consulting your ruv about din torah vs. 311. While it may not be assur to call 311, assuming you live al pi tora, then you should consult a rav.

Chaveirim is not bringing you gas. Carrying around bottles of gas is extremely dangerous. What Chaveirim is bringing you is called emergency gas, and does cost $20 a bottle.

You can buy a bottle yourself at:

    http://sparefuel.net/buy-now/

And $20 is a bargain, considering it costs $22.95 direct from the manufacturer.

Verizon deactivated those numbers as active lines. All the forwarding, backup, etc will fail, if the master record for the line doesn’t exist. It was a Verizon technical error. This had nothing to do with the pole that was knocked down.

He feels he needs a Borsalino, because that is what his friends make him feel. In reality, I am sure many of his friends don’t have a Borsalino. If making him fit in is important, then it makes sense to splurge on the Borsalino. The extra 100$ will go a long way to boost his confidence.

What this woman did was nothing wrong. She did absolutely not judge you. She was shocked that there was a blatant violation of tznius. The fact that you tried to be good, doesn’t mean the end result wasn’t a violation. And that violation probably was causing pain to that loved one of yours.

Had she come and given you a speech about it, that might be wrong, but to state the obvious facts, is not a judgement about you.

What you are doing wrong is living above your means. Things that you feel are an absolute necessity are probably considered a luxury by others. I imagine that as you made more money, you increased your monthly expenses. Think back to when you made half that money, and think about if your life is really better now. While I am not telling you to go back to that, do however realize that your life is not really so simple.

I’m not sure what this is supposed to test. A trillion is a million millions. 40 inches x 1,000,000 = 40,000,000 inches or 3,333,333 feet or 631.31 miles.

Maybe you and your wife are over sensitive and the manager is just doing what he’s been told to do – make customers comfortable.

Many people are actually excited that someone cares about their family and asks about their day. If your wife is uncomfortable its easy to just walk away and ignore him. If you really feel its a tznius issue, feel free to mention it kindly to management. The management can determine if they are comfortable with his actions or it needs to be modified.
