    …..just to clarify.

This doesnt mean that you shouldnt give it a second shot and see if this girl possibly is the one despite the issue…

Just saying that you are not crazy as all the posters (presumably females, who dont wear heels :-))seem to think………

    JIB-I agree with you.

Its not the heels that make or break a shidduch. It’s the type of girl who doesnt bother with heels on a first date is simply not the type of girl he is looking for. She is just to “simple” for him; he is looking for a more “ditzy” type.

Why is this so hard for all you posters to understand?!

I am not saying that simplicity is bad, its actually a wonderful trait; but its not for JIB!

Can you understand that a girl who doesnt wear makeup is not for every boy? I think we all can. This is the exact same. Would you prefer that he marries a simple girl and never finds her attractive? Its not the heels, its the fact that she is more the simplistic type who doesnt bother wearing heels.

    Poppa,

To add to what you said, Hatzolah would also be legally required to bill those without ambulance insurance coverage….

I thought you were refering to computers….btw, i hope your parents dont read this forum..it would probably come as a big surprise.

    SJSinNYC,

    Brooklyn19,

“oh an btw: for all you naive people: there are a million ways to go about unblocking the internet. and i figured out how to do it within 30 after i tried.”

from my experience, a quality filter, such as kosher net or what is available in Israel called Rimon, are quite effective and provide a minimum amount of protection which you cannot avoid because it is downloaded onto the computer.

Take a kollel couple who is not supported by parents/inlaws and living off the wife’s income compared to a couple where both are working. With out a doubt the working couple is far better off financialy than the kollel. The amount that one saves by being low-income is generally far less than a full salary. So, loaded maybe not…but generally better off financialy….

    Illini07,

Brooklyn 19 is facing the real world with regard to teenagers and cellphones. The reality is that a teenager with a cell phone has quite a bit of potential for private communication. Although any street-smart parent can closely moniter phone calls (internet use and text messaging, less so), very few parents have the time, interest, or believe it to be necessary. The end result is often exactly the way Brooklyn19 says it to be….
