Monsey: Yeshiva Bochur Riding Bicycle Struck By Vehicle On Route 59 - Taken To Westchester Hospital With Serious Injuries8:55PM ET: For the second time today, a 15-year-old riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle in the Monsey community. The latest accident happened around 8:20PM Thursday evening on Route 59 at Bates Drive - right near Monsey Glatt. Hatzolah of Rockland County rushed to the scene and found the boy unresponsive with serious injuries. Paramedics responded and the boy was being transported to Westchester Trauma Center. Upon arrival, the officers were advised that a male entered the restaurant, removed a charity box containing cash off the counter, and fled on foot.
