IDF Homefront Commander Major-General Eyal Eisenberg spoke about the distribution of gas mask personal protection kits for citizens. This is being accomplished by Israel Postal Authority.
Speaking to a correspondent of Yad L’Banim, the senior officer explained that his goal is that each and every citizen has a kit in his home. There is a 150 million NIS annual budget towards realizing this goal. He feels it will take a number of years to reach the goal unless the funding is increased, and then it will be accomplished sooner.
