In Search Of Ami’s Person Of The Year

(Thursday, August 23rd, 2012)

With Ami Magazine’s Person of the Year edition rapidly approaching, speculation is mounting as to who the choice will be. Ami is soliciting nominations for this honor from the public.

Last year, Ami honored Reb Moshe Yosef Reichenberg, z”l, a Monsey resident who lost his life trying to save a neighbor’s child from electrocution by a downed wire. His life, the magazine pointed out, was as full of sacrifice for others as his passing was. A tribute article described his life, family, and accomplishments. Subsequent to the Ami article, Reb Moshe Yosef was honored by the Carnegie Hero Fund Commission as a Carnegie Hero.

The editors are looking for a person who have done something for the Jewish people, has inspired others, or has truly given of themselves.

To nominate someone, send an email to editorial@amimagazine.org. Please include the nominee’s name and the reason that you believe he or she should be considered for this honor.
