Under the banner of ‘ותן חלקינו בתורתך’, thousands of women gathered in Bnei Brak for the women’s Siyum HaShas in the presence of the Gerrer Rebitzen, Belzer Rebitzen, Vishnitzer Rebitzen, Rebitzen Ben-Shimon, Rebitzen Lefkowitz, Rebitzen Koldotzki, and Rebitzen Karelitz.
The event took place on Tuesday night, the eve of 4 Elul 5772 in Seminar Ohr Chaim. Most of those in attendance were wives whose husbands recently completed the 12th cycle of day yomi, and now learning Brochos as the 13th cycle is underway.
The event opened with a video airing an address of Rebitzen Batsheva Kanievsky ob”m, followed by the address of the Vishnitzer Rebitzen (wife of the Yeshuos Moshe zt”l). The main address was given by the Gerrer Rebitzen, who spoke of the close connection between Gur and daf yomi. The Belzer Rebitzen followed.
