An Optimistic Yair Lapid Looking at 22 Knesset Seats

(Thursday, September 13th, 2012)

Yair Lapid is confident that his platform will enjoy the support of a growing number of voters in the next election, predicting hisיש עתיד (There is a Future) party will earn 22 seats or more in the next Knesset.

Speaking at a party function in Sderot, Lapid told supporters “This will be our year. We knew it and now everyone will know it and the country will be changed as a result.”

He told activists that he entered the political arena since he is one of those people “who cannot stand at the sidelines, but feels compelled to get in and make a change”. He reminded supporters that when his late father launched the Shinui Party he predicted receiving 15 seats, and no one believed him, but it was so.

A Lapid in government is not very good for Israel.

hes a self absorbed hack and to succeed truly in the political landscape in israel you need to be a party machine and he might have a few seats but they will see his party as being redundant and he will lose everything he has he is a sort of reactionary vote

May he be chozer beteshuva long before that and his party never see the light of day…
