A French supermarket in Paris that carries kosher items was targeted in a firebomb attack on Wednesday afternoon Israel time. Two men clad in black hurled the firebombs, injuring one person.
It is unclear at this time if the attack is connected to the release of the film in the USA deemed unacceptable to the Islamic community, or the more recent depiction of Mohammed in the nude in a French satirical weekly or simply an act of anti-Semitism.
Police are investigating.
The Sipa news agency says that four people were injuried, and are being treated for wounds to their arms and legs from the explosion and broken glass.
