MDA officials report treating 2,334 patients on Yom Kippur as compared to 2,168 last year. 108 people fainted due to the fast, and there were 9 CPR calls. 145 children were transported to hospitals and 5 babies were delivered at home by MDA paramedics.
Three ambulances were attacked with rocks as they responded to calls on the holy day.
