Rav of the Kosel and Holy Sites Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz has issued a call to the tzibur to refrain from visiting Har HaBayis, explaining that Maran Rav Elyashiv zt”l opposed such visits as do all other gedolei yisrael shlita, citing the prohibitions associated with such actions.
Rabbi Rabinowitz had harsh words for the so-called Jewish Har HaBayis organizations which encourage and arrange for such visits, explaining such actions are contrary to daas Torah and gedolei yisrael and as such, they are prohibited.
