US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro visited Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita during Sukkos. The ambassador arrived on erev shabbos during the morning hours, the fourth day of chol hamoed.
According to Shas officials, the ambassador was greeted warmly and they discussed relations between Israel and the United States.
