Less than a month ago Rav Amnon Yitzchak’s mother was niftar. On Wednesday, 1 Cheshvan 5773, his father Rav Yechi Zechariah Yitzchak z”l was niftar in Ichilov Hospital following a severe case of pneumonia. Rav Amnon was planning she shloshim event for his mother this coming Sunday, 5 Cheshvan 5773.
Rav Amnon received the notification of the petira while delivering a lecture in Ohr Akiva. He tore kriya in front of the tzibur upon hearing the bitter news.
The shiva will be at 6 Yosef Chachami Street in Jerusalem’s Bayit Vegan neighborhood.
