Jerry Nadler Not A Fan of Anthony Weiner

Seeking support among his former colleagues in the New York delegation, Anthony Weiner has been so far unsuccessful in garnering support for his candidacy, the Daily News reports.

Among those who were reached out for support, is NYC’s Democratic powerbroker Congressman Jerrold Nadler. “I don’t think he’s one of the most qualified candidates and I think his record is not such that we ought to be considering him for mayor,” Mr. Nadler said in a C-SPAN interview this week, just days after his chat with Weiner.

Nadler told C-SPAN that he hadn’t decided who he’ll support for mayor, “but it won’t be Anthony Weiner.”

“He’s entitled to run,” he added. “I wish he hadn’t.”

  1. Very foolish of Nadler to say that. Now, what happens if Weiner does become Mayor? Jerry has soured the waters. Better to keep his mouth closed!

  2. If Wiener wins I can not see nothing good for our community, he is an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood, and in case you are not well informed the hate Jews, but are ready to use a cappo.

  3. Weiner lied to the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, over the texting incident. That alone should disqualify him. How can anyone trust him?
