Signs (pashkavilim) are appearing around Bnei Brak calling on the tzibur to assist in apprehending the responsible individuals in the recent burglary of the home of Maran HaGaon HaRav Aaron Leib Shteinman Shlita.
Gabba’im of the Rosh Yeshiva insist they are not behind the move, and it does not appear to be Israel Police either.
The notices state that anyone who can assist in locating the responsible individuals and does not is actually assisting those who steal funds from tzedaka.
YWN-Israel had reported on the break-in, which netted the thieves $50,000 in cash and hundreds of thousands of dollars in checks.
