A vehicle belonging to Kiryat Ata Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Maimon was set ablaze during the night in front of the rav’s son’s home, located on HaMeyasdim Street.
Ladaat.net reports the fire was reported at 23:30 on Sunday night, as the car was parked in the son’s parking lot. Neighbors detected the car on fire and called the fire department.
Police crime scene investigators were also dispatched to investigate and gather evidence as arson is suspected.
