The annual strike threat came later than usual, but it came. Ministry of Education employees are threatening to strike the Monday, 9 Elul 5772 opening of the state’s public schools for the new school year. They explain the conditions of their employment have deteriorated to the point a strike may be warranted.
Rarely if ever does the summer pass without a threatened strike that jeopardizes the opening of public school system.
