It was another night of rocket attacks into southern Israel with most of the rockets landing in the Eshkol Regional Council area. Military officials report at least 15 rockets were fired from Hamas-controlled Gaza, B’chasdei Hashem landing in open areas. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
In Beersheva, schools are reopening today, Monday 13 Cheshvan 5773 after being closed down on Sunday due to katyusha rocket attacks in that area.
The air force during the night struck terror targets in Gaza in the usual ineffective sorties. While Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak continue warning terrorists of “the mighty arm of the IDF”, hundreds of thousands of southern residents are living in fear and with the realization that most days involve running to shelters numerous times as rocket attacks continue while in Jerusalem, it is business as usual.
