This is nice light summer dessert that takes advantage of fresh peaches.
1/3 cup sliced almonds
3 tablespoons sugar
6 nectarines or peaches, pitted and thinly sliced
2 oranges, peeled and sectioned
2 plums, pitted and thinly sliced
¼ cup Amaretto
Combine almonds and sugar in a small nonstick skillet; cook over low heat, stirring and watching constantly, until sugar melts and coats the almonds. Cool and break into small chunks. Place fruit in a large bowl and toss with Amaretto. Cover and chill. Spoon into dessert cups. Top evenly with almond mixture.
