A body has been found following a search for a missing Jewish man in north London
Officers from Barnet Police worked with volunteers from Shomrim NW London after a 56-year-old from Edgware disappeared on Wednesday.
Shomrim named the man as Raphael Goldwyn after a body was discovered in a slip road in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Thursday morning.
Dozens of people had joined the search and a police helicopter with heat-seeking equipment was deployed.
Officers are investigating but do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances and are not searching for anyone else in connection to the death.
Barnet Police and Shomrim NW London thank all those who offered assistance in the search for a missing Edgware man, it was very much appreciated.

If there’s no suspicious circumstances then the reader is missing an integral part of the story. YW is either intentionally on not intentionally omitting. People generally don’t go missing and are then are discovered dead on a highway access roads. The dots don’t connect.
The family must be suffering, would it not be a chesed if we could leave them alone in their pain. The man,BDE is not alive anymore so what difference can it make?
“Ich bin etc”: YW’ sreport was a straight quote from an English news site.
Anyway, as achashvayroish pointed out already, this is not a topic to be discussed in public.
I happen to know the niftar and his family. They suffered a lot in their life and will have it even harder now. Just leave them be and be mispallel that his neshomoh will now finally have the menuchah he had been hoping for all those years. Yihyeh zichro boruch
