YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Chaninah Nadoff Z”L, a longtime Magid Shiur in Yeshiva of Spring Valley, and from the Chashuvim of Monsey. He was the Baal Tefillah in the Philadelphia Yeshiva on Yomim Noraim for many years, until he became unwell a few years ago. He leaves behind a family, children and grandchildren, all following in his ways of Torah and Chessed.
The Levaya will take place Sunday, 2:00PM, at Yeshiva of Spring Valley Boys building, on College Rd. the kevura will be held in Monsey.

Rabbi nadoff was my rebbe in 8th grade and he was my best rebbe I have ever had. The love and care he showed to me and to each kid in the class was unbelievable. Even now a few years later I look back at 8th grade and I see that if not for rabbi nadoff I would not be where I am today. He was one of the most special men i have ever seen. Boruch dayen emes. Baruch Dayan Emes. Such a wonderful person and a true talmud chacham. A terrible loss to the tzibur and to klal Yisroel. His father A”H, was also a brilliant and very special Yid – he was my Rebbi in Pittsburgh so many years ago.
