  1. # 2, obviously he is not Jewish, he is probably a Druze but he is a soldier of Israeli Army and unlike some real Jews gave his life to protect Mostly Jewish people. True, he did not die in combat, but he was at least serving in the army that is saving thousands of lives (with Hashem’s help)and those of you who are bashing IDF here should be ashamed of yourselves. Tfilos and Torah learning are great, but after all it’s those young guys and girls who actually are shlichim of Hashem to save human lives. And the army is just as important as learning Torah, that is why real Jews must combine both.

You are one sick puppy! By me it says TALMUD TORAH K’NEGED KULAM. That means EVERYTHING.

We can also see that you have no concept of how yiddin do battle for had you known you wouldn’t have made such a remark worthy of an ahm haoretz.

  3. Sorry Alex from NY. The army is NOT just as important as torah. Serving in the army is great, but it will never reach Tefillos and Torah learning. Think of this way, the Hamas is only a punishment for our sins (rambam beginning of hil. tanis) and if everyone was busy learning, we would not need an army. Let’s spell it out, this war is a punishment for not serving Hashem in all of it’s forms, let the people who are not learning anyways fight it while the people who are bringing about peace through their learning continue to learn…..
