i just want to tell you that i personaly know this young bochur and he was an amazing baal chesed, he did not hang out in uman he actuall lived there him and his family live there its been years, they welcomed everyone to uman! and about uman its as safe as erets yisroel Rebbe Nachman said it himself.

It is a real tragedy. Such a young person to lose his life so tragically. BD”E. There are many lessons to be learned. First of all, he ran out of his car and chased the goyim. That was a very foolish thing to do. I live in Ukraine and I think that there is also a lesson here that bochurim should not be hanging out in Uman. It is a very holy place and naturally the Yetser Hora is attracted to such places since “Ze le’umas ze”. Maybe now that the Rabbonim of Breslov have come together and formed a Vaad this should be their first takonoh. And it will be for an Aliyah for his neshomo. HY”D.

when was the last time a yid was killed in uman? There have been a lot more people killed because they are yidden in NY than Uman. Instead of pathetic comments, say a kappitel Tehilim and daven that all yidden should be safe wherever they are.
