R’ Abba Gorelick Shlita (Rosh Yeshivas South Fallsburg) made a Vort last night for his son. The Kallah is the daughter of Rabbi Gradman of Lakewood. The Vort took place in Hershberg’s Shul.

On Thursday evening in Lakewood R’ Moshe Rabinowitz and R’ Dovid Lock gave Hespaidim Lizecher Nishman Hagoen R’ Elya Yurkansky ZATZAL (Rosh Yeshivas Mirrer Yeshiva) on his first Yartzheit. The Asifa took place in Park Terrace.

The Toldos Avrohom Rebbe Shlita will be spending this Shabbos in Boro Park. The Tefillios and Tish will be at Klausenberg (Bais Esther).

This Shabbos the Skverrer Rebbe will be Davening and conducting his Tish in Bais Faiga Hall (350 Courtney Road). Friday night Tish is at 8:30PM. Shabbos afternoon at 3:15PM. Seudah Shlishis at 5:00PM. Havdalah will be at 7:15PM.

R’ Mendel Glick was Niftar and his Levaya will be at 10:45 at the Krasna Bais Medrash in Boro Park. He was one of the Ziknei Krasna. He was Niftar at the age of 91.

The Toldos Ahron Rebbe Shlita will be spending this Shabbos in Williamsburg. He just returned from Kiryas Tosh (Montreal) to attend the Upsherin of an Einekle.

There will be a Kabbolas Ponim on Friday night for Hagon R’ Moshe Hillel Hirsh Shlita (Rosh Yeshivas Slobodke) in the home of Reb Avrohom Zalmen Offen 2114 Ave N  at 8:45PM.

On Thursday evening, the Skverrer Rebbe made a special visit to Yeshivas Ohr Zaruah in Lakewood. The Rebbe was greeted by a warm introduction given by the esteemed Rosh HaYeshiva HaGoan HaRav Tzvi Aryeh Rosenblatt Shlita. Afterwards the Rebbe addressed the bochurim and then gave each one Shalom. (The entire Yeshiva had visited The Rebbe in New Square during the summer.)

R’ Mattisyahu Solomon Shlita spoke this afternoon at the O.U. He spoke about the importance of accountability and ne’emanis in the Kashruth industry, and stated the importance of Mashgichim having Yiras Shomayim.

A car returning from Tevereya to Yerushalayim overturned, injuring four Belzer Chassidim this evening. They were returning from the Kever of the father of the Belzer Rebbe whose Yartheit was today. Thousands accompanied the Belzer Rebbe to the Kever.

Rebbitzen Ita Chana Markowitz – daughter of the Ozrover Rebbe and wife of Reb Eliyahu Rabinowitz Shlita (one of Ashdods Choshiva Rabbonim) was niftier after long illness. She left behind 7 Yesomim R”L.

The Skulener Rebbe Shlita will be spending Shabbos at his Bais Medrash in Boro Park. This is the first time that the Rebbe Shlita will be spending Shabbos in his Bais Medrash in 6 months since he underwent serious surgery.

Hagoen R’ Lazer Kahanaman Shlita (Rosh Yeshivas Ponavez) visited the Yeshiva Gedolah of Bayonne NJ & delivered a Shiur at the Yeshiva.
