Gateshead: Yeshiva students get attacked

In Gateshead, England the last few nights at the Yeshiva there has been many fights with the goyim. Numerous Yeshiva Bochrim have been attacked with two Bochrim been taken to hospital. A Magid shiur from Yeshiva Be”er Hatorah was beaten up and hurt as well. Police have made seven arrests so far, and are searching for others.

Monsey: Viznitz Chasunah

The Chasuna of Viznitz Bnei Brak to Viznitz Monsey is taking place this evening. The Mesader Kidushin was done by the Viznitzer Rebbe of Monsey, the Kesuba was read by the Satmar Rebbe (KJ), the six Brachos were said by the Rachmanstrivka Rebbe, and Brocha Achrita was said by R’ Yisroel Hager Shlita of Viznitz Bnei Brak.

Staten Island: Frum cars have tires slashed

This evening in Staten Island at Kollel Knesses Yisroel (Eltingville, Staten Island) approxamitely 10 cars had their tires slashed. This was obviously a deliberate attack against the Frum cars – since the cars were parked on different streets. This is not the first incident either! Naturally the NYPD is refusing to label it as a bias crime.

Gedolim meeting with El Al for talks

Members of the Vaad Likdushas Shabbos met Tuesday evening with El Al CEO Chaim Romano in order to try and solve the dispute that broke out after El Al was Michallel Shabbos last Shabbos. In the meeting, attended by attorney Yigal Arnon representing El Al and attorney Yakov Ne’eman (representing the Chareidim), the two sides agreed to draft a legal document, in which the airline would commit not to fly on Shabbos.
