Arab attacks Frum man in Old City

Yerushalayim: Person killed in a fire
Friday, December 1st, 2006A man in his 30s died on Friday afternoon after a fire broke out in his home in the Ramot neighborhood. An initial investigation indicated that the fire was caused when the man dropped a lit cigarette while he was drunk.

Sullivan County: The new tax exempt grocery story

They gave away the store, says Sullivan County Treasurer Ira Cohen. A 6,000-square-foot grocery store at a bungalow colony, to be exact. Local governments settled in February with Ichud Bungalows, (Satmar) on Route 42 near Monticello High School. Ichud filed to make the colony tax exempt in 2004. (more…)

El Al’s decision to continue flights after the start of Shabbos on Friday night to catch up with flights delayed due to the strike infuriated the Frum community and its Rabonim.
