A drunk Arab driver was killed and three Israeli Yeshiva Bochrim were injured – one seriously – in a car accident at approximately 1:00AM. The accident occurred near Tzomet Yavo (in the north). Shanghai plans to erect a monument to its Jewish immigrants who had fled from Nazi persecution the Shanghai Daily reported Thursday. The district of Hongkou was planning this year to renovate its Ohel Moshe Synagogue and turn it into a memorial. According to reports, the building’s restoration would follow designs from 1928. Austria: Jewish school attacker given light sentence

An Austrian court has sentenced a Croatian man to 15 months in jail for smashing a Jewish school with a crowbar last year. The man told the court “there are too many Jews in this country” and justice officials said his failure to show any remorse contributed to the sentence. (more…)
