Er, but, David is a Yid. Don’t we have to blindly support him regardless of his behavior? We have been doing that for as long as anyone can remember. Politicians, convicted criminals (unless we can dilute the injustice claiming he/she is not “frum”), Rabanim with personal agendas, etc. have all gotten free passes. Perhaps this is the real lesson to be learned here.
