I am not a NY resident but I would say to Senator Schumer that Israel is considering sending in ground troops. In a situation where one has to constantly warn civilians of approaching troops Israeli troops will lose the element of surprise and subject themselves , chas v'sholem,to much greater risk.
I would suggest that Senator Schumer propose to the US Congress that the US State Dept. should be "firmly" urged to ask Egypt to open it's borders to true civilians from Gaza that wish to escape the onslaught, so Israeli soldiers can go in and take care of the arms and Hamas',and other's militia that are waiting for them in buildings.Did the US not request of Jordan and Turkey to let civilians fleeing the conflict in Syria? Why should Israel have to sacrifice it's soldiers in order that Gazans can continue to shelter this terrorist regime?(whether willingly or not)
Now that, Senator Schumer or Senator Warren would actually be showing true support for Israel, rather than just stating the obvious.

Att. Mr. Shoemah,
Thanks for your support, FINALLY!
May I suggest a third and fourth example? Perhaps you might even use these too in the future.
Q: Whose actions killed the electricity to 70,000 Palestinians?
A: A Hamas rocket
Q: Who fixed the downed power lines?
A: The stupid Israeli technicians
Q: Where are all theses truckloads of food and supplies for the Palestinian peoples coming from?
A: The Israelis. That's because they're caring and humanitarian and I leave the contrast for your own conclusionary skills!

Well written; obviously this article could be lengthenend indeffinitely. What about the celebrations on each successfull terror attack? What about forcing civilliance to stay within danger zone, i.e. rocket launcher sites. And how about the Israelis supplying petrol to the enemy and repairing the electricity cables in mid war. The list goes on endless.

Where, may I respectfully ask, has this 'op-ed' appeared, other than in our very own dear YWN.
Is it in the NY Times? The Washington Post?
Schumer is usually silent on Jewish Issues; loud, very loud, on liberal issues.
We could have had D'Amato, who was a bold and fearless spokesman for issues that mattered a lot to US. Instead, thanks to the NY liberal, Jewish establishment, we got this political hack, who is usually reticent to forcefully speak about anything Jewish.
So much for the myth of the clever Jews.

Moderators Response: In the NY Post. Maybe in other places as well.
