Why is any group that puts their own problem ahead of others labeled anti-Semitic just because they happen to have Jewish neighbors?

From this letter, it doesn’t seem like the NAACP is calling for any curtailment of Jews’ rights. It seems like they are campaigning for dollars to be spent on their own community constituents. I don’t see how that makes them anti-Semites.

It could be that in their offices, they sit back twisting their mustaches while boning up on Jewish religious observances so as to perfectly time the release of their letter, but I’m betting this letter was the first they’d heard of Jews taking time off for Passover.

With all of the real anti-Semitism going on, with Jews being murdered in Israel for being Jewish, with kosher meat processing being banned in Europe because it benefits Jews, with a vote in California under consideration to ban circumcision because it is a requirement of Jewish life, perhaps we should contest anti-Semitism only where it actually rears its head?
