#6, by the way New York could make itself relevant by allocating its electors proportionally; but it doesn't want to, because that would hurt the Democrats (just as solid Republican states don't do it because it would hurt them).

#3, no he didn't. Obama won both the popular vote and the electoral college.

#6, what's unfair about that? In Congress too, you could complain that your vote doesn't mean anything because Brooklyn and New York are going to go Democrat. That's how it is. If enough people in New York come to their senses, New York could also be in play. And there are plenty of frum Jews in Florida and Ohio.

The reasons that the electoral college system is unfair is pretty obvious: elections are decided by a handful of swing states. Since I (and probably most frum Jews) live in a non-swing state, my vote really doesn't matter. I'm effectively disenfranchised.

What a flagrantly biased article. No argument is given for why the constitutional system is unfair, it's simply assumed. And the fact is that electoral fraud is easy and almost impossible to catch, so it defies reason to assume that it doesn't exist on a massive scale. The fact that the Democrats resist every measure that would reduce fraud, even by a little bit, proves that they believe it benefits them. And indeed every instance of fraud that has been reported in at least the past 30 years has been by Democrats.
