There was drama in the Torah city of Bnei Brak in the beis medrash on Shadal Street. The Ashlag ( אשלג) Rebbe Shlita was preparing to give a shiur. Tens of chassidim were present along with other community residents.

Two of the participants had the gabbai a bit concerned; appearing somewhat odd. The gabbai tried to photograph them with a phone. The two responded by spraying him with pepper spray and they hit the rebbe as well. Those present tried to restrain the two but they managed to flee.

EMS was summoned to treat the gabbai and the rebbe and the Shomrim were alerted and they continue efforts to apprehend the assailants.
