US: Abduction Of Israeli Soldier Would Be ‘Outrageous’; Says He Must Be Released

hadThe White House says the apparent abduction of an Israeli soldier would be an “absolutely outrageous” action by Hamas.

Tony Blinken is deputy national security adviser. Blinken says the U.S. strongly condemns the alleged abduction. He says that if the soldier has been kidnapped, he must be released.

The Israeli military confirmed on Friday that one of its soldiers was abducted. The IDF later named him as Givati Brigade 2nd-Lt. Hadar Goldin [ben Chedva Leah], 23, of Kfar Sava. The report came as a cease-fire with Hamas collapsed just hours after it took effect.

Thirty-five Palestinians were also killed Friday by Israeli shelling.

Blinken said Secretary of State John Kerry was speaking to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the unraveling cease-fire Friday morning. His comments came in interview on MSNBC.

  1. Time to tell the world to shove their ceasefire where the sun don’t shine and take off the kid gloves. No more baby war with terrorists bent on our absolute annihilation! Go in hard and fast and sort out the pieces later.

  2. Thank you America for all your pressure. Look what your cease fire brought. Lev sarim u’melachim bYad Hashem. Lets increase our tefillos & maasim tovim even more & really, truly beg Hashem for the geulah, the ultimate final solution.

  3. When they comment about the bombing of the school you notice they didn’t say” if they did this” the only use the terminology when referring to israels claims of what was done

  4. To clarify, it’s our president who’s been pressuring Israel. The American people and our elected representatives other than President Obama seem to be supportive & understanding of Israel’s position.
